Necklaces & Pendants

The Long and the Short of It

  • Necklaces vary by chain length. The circumference of your neck and size of the pendant will impact how your necklace sits on its own and with other styles.

Measure Your Size

  • Measure and cut a piece of string to the same length as the necklace you’re eyeing.
  • Place it around your neck to see where it falls—the key to layering is striking the right balance. Consider the size and shape of the pendant.
  • Repeat the process to see how necklaces of different lengths may look together.

Tips & Tricks

Measure your fingers at the end of the day when they’re at their largest.
Cold weather can shrink your fingers up to half a size, so make sure they’re warm.
Lastly, alcohol and salt can make your fingers swell, so refrain from measuring them after cocktails and appetizers.
